In April 2025, Pains Fireworks Limited, a leading professional fireworks business, completed the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Dynamite FX Limited from Joe Knight Holdings Limited. This strategic transaction marks a significant step in Pains Fireworks’ growth journey, expanding their operational footprint and bringing new expertise into the group. The deal combines two respected names in the pyrotechnics industry, opening up fresh opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and enhanced client service.
Our role
Hybrid Legal acted for Pains Fireworks Limited (the Buyer), led by Tim Griffiths, throughout the transaction. Mike Duggan provided end-to-end legal support, from the initial stages of negotiation and due diligence through to final completion. Our focus was on delivering pragmatic, clear advice and ensuring the process was as smooth and straightforward as possible for our client. The transaction involved navigating the complexities of acquiring a specialist business, managing due diligence, and maintaining momentum despite some delays arising from financial checks.
