In just three years Jimmy’s Iced Coffee has gone from a bedsit to a nationally recognised brand with stockists including Tesco, Ocado, Waitrose and Selfridges. Not to mention a very catchy music video that has now gone viral!

Jim started Jimmy’s Iced Coffee with his sister Suzie in Dorset. Since the early days of starting the business, Jim and Suzie have been on an exciting journey which has led them to where they are now. We caught up with Jim to find out more about their journey in business so far.

Here’s what he had to say:

What inspired you to start Jimmy’s Iced Coffee?

A genuine addiction for incredible Iced Coffee that I discovered in Oz a few years ago.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business to date?

Buying a carton of our stuff in Selfridges the day we launched and watching it bleep through the till. Not to mention walking into a Tesco Express and seeing our range lined up on the shelves.

What has been your most challenging moment and how did you overcome it?

Being told by our production facility that they were not going to make for us anymore unless we paid them A LOT of money. We convinced them to carry on producing for us and made them believe in our journey and what we were trying to achieve.

What’s next for Jimmy’s?

A higher rate of sales in our existing stores and global aspirations in the travel and convenience sectors.

If you could pass on one key tip for how our clients could market their business more effectively, what would it be?

Talk to your audience as if you were at a dinner party together. Be yourself, people love real and tangible stories. No-one is airbrushed in real life so don’t try and be online.

And finally, how has hybrid legal helped Jimmy’s?

Hybrid made all the legal stuff easy to understand and most importantly, fun. They were great to work with and we got lots done together! Massive High five to you all. Thanks, Jimmy.
