These rates, last updated in January 2024, give you a good idea of what qualified legal experts will typically charge in different regions across England and Wales.
According to the HM Courts & Tribunals Service, if you want a solicitor with over eight years of experience, you’re looking at paying between £546 and £272 per hour, depending on where you are.
Now, let’s talk about us – we’re based in Hampshire, falling under the National 1 band, where the guideline rate is set at £278 per hour. However, our hourly rate starts at a competitive £250 reflecting our commitment to offering quality legal services at a reasonable cost.

Legal Plus – Subscription-based legal support
For many clients, we act as their dedicated outsourced legal team, providing ongoing support for an affordable monthly fee which starts at just £675+VAT.
This support means that when legal matters crop up, you can call someone you trust who already knows your business.
