Cora Burke

Commercial Associate

Cora is a contracts & technology transfer specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in corporate & commercial practice. She has worked across public, private and third sectors and has extensive experience in recruitment law, charity law and principled negotiation, both under English and Islamic Commercial Law.

Over the course of her career, Cora has established successful teams; designed and implemented robust commercial management operations; project managed the delivery of a fully managed commercial legal service; negotiated Government-to-Government agreements with various partners in the Gulf States; and provided in-house legal support to a research-oriented charity. Above all, however, she enjoys working with innovators and start-ups, and get alongside them to see their vision come to fruition.

Cora is a passionate advocate for disability rights and a keen supporter of neurodivergent, LGBTIA+ and other entrepreneurs whose protected characteristics might be perceived as a limitation to success.

Once she clocks off, she dives into her advocacy work, and what time is left is spent with friends, family and her assistance dog Sadie and two cats, Kat-Kat and Tom-Tom.
