Hybrid Legal held a special thank-you event for our clients in May.

As part of our growth, we have appointed a fifth member of staff, Jon Craddock. He joins as client partner, providing outsourced legal support to recruitment companies and firms from other sectors. Jon was introduced to our clients at the informal gathering at the Dancing Man Brewery at the medieval Wool House at Town Quay, Southampton. Previously providing in-house legal support to a specialist procurement recruiter near Southampton, Jon is a law graduate from Bristol and is training to be a chartered legal executive through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

Director Ryan Lisk said: “We like to host fun and interesting events for our clients, encouraging them to meet like-minded business owners, and the Dancing Man Brewery has certainly helped us achieve that. Tasting a wide selection of locally brewed beers on a hot day like today has worked really well and our clients seem to be making the most of it! The thank-you event was also an occasion to introduce clients to Jon, who is providing valuable legal advice to recruitment companies, from reviewing contracts to regulatory updates in a fast-changing compliance environment. Jon is our second client partner, with Freya Claydon joining us at the tail end of last year. They provide dedicated support to our Legal Plus clients under our monthly legal support solution.”

“We are increasingly receiving referrals from agile companies who like the reassurance of fixed-fee legal expertise. Few people in business like financial surprises in this day and age. What they want is cost certainty to suit them, not the lawyers.”

Other members of staff attending were director Alan Reid and office manager Anita Rouget.

Ryan, who lives in Hampshire, previously set up his own business after graduating with a first-class honours degree from Bristol Law School. He was inspired from his role providing legal support to a fast-growing start-up that was fed up with traditional law firms.

Hybrid Legal works in sectors across the board, including start-ups, SMEs, e-commerce, technology, retail, hospitality and leisure, marketing, music and film, media, creative and professional services.
